In 2015, Dr. Crystal Collier was given a Prevention and Education Commendation from the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence for creating a prevention program model that teaches the neurodevelopmental effects of high-risk behavior to youth.

In 2018, Dr. Crystal Collier was awarded the Torch Bearer of the Year Award from the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals for her work in prevention of high-risk behavior.

In 2018, Dr. Crystal Collier was awarded a Research Fellowship from The Hope and Healing Center and Institute to support her in the writing of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide.

In 2019, Dr. Crystal Collier was given an Outstanding Research Award from the Association of Alternative Peer Groups for her and her colleagues research in APGs.

Dr. Collier was the keynote at the 2022 Region 17 Education Center’s Mental Health Conference in Lubbock and spoke about the tools in her book, The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide.
